Recognizing the need for ERP solutions and traceability in the agricultural industry, i3 Brands’ CEO, Michael Lucas, founded Frequentz in 2008 and served as CEO until 2014.
Since launch, the company has expanded internationally, providing solutions and expertise to manage large scale, global clients across several vertical markets. Under the leadership of Mr. Lucas, Frequentz acquired IBM’s Information Repository and Intelligence Server (IRIS) and launched the first consumer prescription authentication app with EMD Serono, the biopharmalogical division of Merck. Mr. Lucas also became an important advocate for seafood sustainability, introducing IRIS’ tracing capabilities to the seafood industry’s supply chain in order to protect consumer safety and brand integrity.
